"1984"

Automne/Hiver 2025/2026

"This collection is deeply emotional for me. For years, we’ve wanted to tackle this literary monument: 1984 by George Orwell.

Secret relationships defy the rigid dictates of a paralysed society. How can this date symbolize censorship, violence, and the relentless pursuit of love and freedom? Its themes resonate with terrifying relevance today.

This novel serves as the starting point for our Fall-Winter 2025-2026 collection. Both armor and shelter, coats and tailored suits protect bodies, adorned with delicate lingerie that merges feminine codes with the utilitarian aesthetics of military undergarments. Bodies are inherently political. We’ve distilled from it an atmosphere of forbidden sensuality. Slits and openings expose erogenous zones, making the body even more vulnerable. Inspired by uniforms, the strict color palette—black, bone, dark khaki—allows the textures to take center stage, remaining true to LGN’s DNA. Jacquards of mouliné wool and tailoring fabrics developed with Kvadrat are paired with waxed leathers and opulent, smooth velvets, sometimes devoré. Sliver zippers slash through the pieces with their metal teeth. Spikes, scattered across skin, latex or accessories, are aggressive and organic. In these increasingly chaotic times, it is vital to claim our differences as our strength."
